I woke up this morning to this sad news! I'm a huge fan of Psquare and I was shocked when I got a tip that the mother of the twin entertainers is dead. Word on the streets is that Mrs. Okoye lost the battle to an undisclosed sickness. Peter, Paul, Tony, Jude and the rest of the Okoye siblings have not said anything about the situation yet, I don't expect them to right now but those close to them have confirmed that she was treated at St. Nicholas Hospital at the time the illness started but was later flown abroad for further treatment. She allegedly died while responding to treatment.
We avid Psquare fans would know that Mrs. Okoye was very fond of her sons and supported them in all the ways she could, even at the initial stage of their career. They even sang about her on their first album. Her last public appearance was at the P-Square Invasion concert in August 2011. Even though she was a Christian minister, she always encouraged her sons!
