I met up with Mosby last year in preparation for my first show; YouthRave and I found out that the young rapper is more than an artiste, he's a bundle of energy. The C.U. Undergraduate spoke to JK about his life, being a momma's boy, the success of his hit-track; FadeNation and his future! Enjoy!

JK: In one sentence, who is Chinweokwo Caleb?

Mosby: Hmm.. A real young ass playful nigga.

JK: What was growing up like for you?

Mosby: Errrmm, I'm still growing but so far so good, not stressful.

JK: Educational background.

Mosby: Uhmm, I went to two primary schools and two secondary schools; Imperial then St Saviours primary school, St.Saviours High school then Baptist. I'm currently in my 4th year at Covenant University.

JK: Why the name Mosby?

Mosby: See ehn; I love my mom so much. I'm the only son so therefore, I'm MOmmy'S BoY. So I just picked some alphabets from that and formed MOSBY. (Laughs)

JK: What inspired your love for music?

Mosby: I love music a lot. Right from when I was a child. And rap because its just something you can place everything on; Anger,Joy,wealth; even weed and sex.

JK: What was your first time in the studio like?

Mosby: My first time in the studio was fun. I was with a blunt but cool upcoming producer; Dayme,Coded,Aundrey,CBJ at Konfirmed Records base..we made music that day though; funny ass music. (Laughs)

JK: Who have you worked with in the industry? Both local and international.

Mosby: Mehnn!!! Nobody really known oo. (Laughs) But small small sha.

JK: What would you say has been your best and your worst experiences so far in your career?

Mosby: Uhmmmm; Best experience should be when I recorded something, personally I didn't like it but all of a sudden, a couple guys started saying it was mad and I hadn't listend to the mastered version yet. They were telling me online. And my worst experience; Jesu! (Exclaims!) When some friends calmly told me a song of mine was wack. That was fucking deep yo.

JK: Does Mosby have a girlfriend?

Mosby: Yup Yup! Mosby has. Her names are Kitan Mercy Adeola. She's cute,annoying, (laughs) and very supportive.

JK: How do you feel about the success of FadeNation,with over a thousand downloads already. Did you expect it to be this huge?

Mosby: (smiling hard) I feel great o, I love the song. I did it wit my nigga Kevy. And even if I was scared; yep I expected it be successful.

JK: Who do you wish to work with in the industry? Locally and internationally.

Mosby: Yung6ix/OzzyB and Kanye/Drake/TheWeekend

JK: What should we expect from Mosby in the nearest future?

Mosby: Naahh!!!! Wouldn't want to ruin your surprise. But watch out for VogueRecordsEntertainment. That's word to my man Jozi and also the mixtape "FADENATION" wit my homie kevy.

JK: Any advice for other upcoming acts out there?

Mosby: Determination, Focus and the right guidance which is God; Is key. Just undull nd follow your heart.

JK: Finally; if you we're to come back to earth as a female Nigerian vocalist, who would it be and why?

Mosby: Kai! That wld be Eli Roosevelt ooo. She sings under a Cray producer, Bankyondbeats! I love her vocals to death! She's very unique to me.
