For the first time,our VC at Redeemer's University was seen in action, as he, Mr Ipenko (our Students Affairs Officer), the Queen Esther Hostel Matron and security officers ran to the aid of Queen Esther Hostel girls as a room on D Block burnt to crisp.
Luckily, no one was hurt and no girl stays in the room but a former occupant's items, which she left there, got burnt. It happened during the early hours of this morning. We still don't know the cause of the fire.
It shocked me however that the news is now everywhere, it's on almost all the sites right now.
