On the night of April 5th, a 10 year old girl gave birth to a baby girl. The Colombian girl is from a remote Wayuu tribe in the La Guajira Peninsula. She was given a Caesarean Section (C.S.) after being pregnant for 39 weeks. Doctors carried out the risky operation because of her age.
Apparently; both the mother and child; which weighed just 5lbs, are "doing well".
I'm in shock! O_o
