After releasing the video for "Plan B" only two weeks ago, fast-rising Nigerian emcee and lyricist Timix launches his long awaited debut mixtape; #Mixedbreed featuring 20 great tracks that must make TIMIX's career and solidify his position as one of the New School African emcees to watch out for in 2012 and beyond!
 
A week ago JK spoke to Timix and he spoke about his excitement and expectations. To represent his conscious efforts at bridging the gap between the "Old School" and "New School" eras of Hip-Hop while restoring the true Hip-Hop feeling, this 20-track mixtape sees Timix in excellent Hip-Hop fashion and not only shows off his lyrical abilities as an emcee but his musical dexterities in actually creating full and rich songs – a trait that some rappers these days fail to posses.
 
 
ABOUT TIMIX
 
Bred in the streets of Lagos and raised by a single mother, 18-year old Ajayi Oluwatimilehin aka TIMIX found Music and Arts as his first love. He professionally kicked off his musical career in 2009 with the song "Top Of My Game" which was produced by Micworx Production and has been mentioned by several tastemakers as one of the New School Nigerian emcees to watch out for. Timix's much anticipated debut mixtape #MixedBreed - which is bringing that old good music back to life with production from some of Nigeria's dopest producers, Smyl, Venomous of Micworx (Mode 9) and NOD – is now available for FREE download!
