Looking at the petite 15 year old; Oluwadunsin Kehinde,you would not suspect the great talent brewing from her. The young intelligent lady who attends Dansol High School and is in ss2, is a high fashion designer who makes her clothes by hand and is making a name for herself in her locality. She sat down with JK to discuss a few things. Enjoy the interview.

JK:.In one sentence who’s Dunsin Kehinde?

Dunsin: A Mad talented young woman (giggles)

JK: Fill us in on your educational background?

Dunsin: I went to Tomobid Nursery and Primary school..and presently I’m in Dansol High School

JK:.How did fashion for you come about?

Dunsin: (smiles) It’s just something natural….

JK: What does fashion mean to u?

Dunsin: (jokes)Fashey d ion

(Laughs)

okay fashion means the World to me (big smile)

JK: .What were your parents’ reactions to your fashion instincts?

Dunsin: Emm (hesitates)….they loved it….

JK:.What was the first thing you designed?

Dunsin:  I can’t remember that….I design every day…my ruler,pencil,school bag,note pad and so on, So I don’t know

JK: How will you describe your fashion style?

What message does it pass across?

Dunsin: Colourful… Crazy… Fun.. Shiny… Sparkly… Not simple though….

For the message, I rilly don’t know….I dress for myself… Let the public decide…

JK:.Who are your idols? What designers do you like?

Dunsin: i don’t have any idols… All those illuminati people (laughs) but i love Coco Chanel,Monique lhiller and Vera wang.

JK:.What is the name of your fashion line? And why?

Dunsin: Sapphyre; its a new name i just came up with…..no reason though

JK:.How do you make your clothes?

Dunsin: With my hands; needle and thread

JK:.that must take a lot of work?

Dunsin: it does take a lot of work but i enjoy doing it.

JK:.You won the best designer award at your skl’s talent hunt last year. What was your reaction?

Dunsin: im not trying to be proud or anything but I wasn’t suprised…(Laughs) really I was happy.

JK: Apart from fashion what are your other interests?

Dunsin: Photography and Graphical editing

JK: Where do you see yourself in the nearest future?

Dunsin: i want to be the biggest designer ever known

JK: What is your advice for upcoming designers out there?

Dunsin: Be yourself….. Dont get carried away
