I know its been a while since I've written anything under this column, but as always; I've been very busy! I've been promising my faithful fans I'll update it, and now's the time! I'm sure you all remember what happened in 11, Read and enjoy 12 below;
"After my mid-semester tests and what I thought was a recovery period from my Demi-phase, I woke up to shocking news! (Don't worry,its not from Demi! Lol) Shocking news that Unilag's name had been changed to Maulag!
Right when I thought my life was getting back to normal, I couldn't help but laugh my ass off at the name change! I was on my way to Lekki with my friends a day later when we we're stuck in traffic just before Third Mainland Bridge. Apparently, Unilag students we're protesting. What I thought would be at most an hour in traffic turned out to be more!
My friends advised we leave the traffic and take another cab back home. As we we're at the bus stop hoping to stop a free cab, a car pulled up and I recognised the bonnet immediately. It was the same car Demi used to take me to the beach!
I was speechless, assin I was in utter shock. He pulled up, nudged for my friend's attention and asked her what way we we're headed so he could at least drop us off. He paid me no form of attention and increased my speechlessness (please allow the grammar). I really didn't know what to say. Then my friend turned back to tell the rest of us to get in, that her friend; "Demi" would drop us off. I then decided to ignore him too, two can play the game now.
Just when I was lost in my thoughts,my friend brought me back to reality with a shocking question; "Demi said you look very familiar, do you know him?" I laughed and replied; "Nah,I doubt".
Next thing we we're packed in front of KFC and I was confused. Apparently, Demi had offered to buy us food because my friend had blurted out how hungry we we're.
As my friends we're hurriedly ordering. I sat and got lost in thoughts again when I was startled by, that "touch", that touch that sent chills down my spine. It was Demi and all he said was; "I'm sorry, I really have a lot of explaining to do".
I didn't want to hear it. I just wasn't going to have it. I stood up and walked right out of the eatery. Right there and then, he held me back, pleading. What was I to do? Stay and listen to the explanation or walk away?
I was confused! I was happy he held me back, at the same time I was distraught by the fact that he found me again; just when I thought I had forgotten him. Little did I know that a lot had happened during that short break.
Stay glued for 13! *tongue out*
