President Goodluck Jonathan will on Monday begin a three-day working visit to Malawi and Botswana.

According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, on Saturday, the latest foreign trip is in furtherance of the present administration's diplomatic initiative aimed at enhancing economic and socio-political relations with other African nations.

Abati said the President would be accompanied on the trip by Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State and Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State.

Also on the President's entourage would be Senator Sahabi Alhaji Yau, Honourable Jones Oyereri, the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Alhaji Musa Mohammed Sada, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Chief Edem Duke and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Nurudeen Mohammed.

Jonathan is due to be back in Abuja on Wednesday.
