Last night Kenyan actress, Lupita Nyong’o won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her first feature film. She won the Oscar for her powerful performance as Patsy in 12 Years A Slave.
Its been way beyond a wonderful year for her!

“When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child, that no matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid” she said.
